Method

  • step 1

    Preheat your oven to 180ºC/160ºC fan. Grease and line a 26x22cm baking tin with baking paper.

  • step 2

    Use an electric whisk to beat together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Gradually add the eggs, milk and vanilla extract until combined then stir in the self-raising flour. Pour into the prepared tin and bake in the oven for 25-35 minutes until golden in colour. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely in the tin.

    To make the icing, beat together the icing sugar and butter with a few drops of vanilla extract until smooth. You may need to add a splash of hot water to loosen. Remove the cake from the tin, spread over the buttercream icing, top with the M&M'S® Bunnies.
